Tax-Free Donation

 Millstream Films and Media is proud to have the New York-based non-profit Entertainment To Affect Change as a Fiscal Sponsor to partner with us in fundraising to help cover post-production costs for "Miriam Makeba, The Voice of Africa," now in fine cut stage. This partnerships allows philantropists, private investors and the public who want to support the making of the film able to do so through a legitimate, tax-deductible donation to  E2AC.

 How does it work? 

A Fiscal Sponsor is a legal way for a project  that might be overlooked by traditional film financing  to attract donors when not yet recognized as tax exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Charitable contributions are given to the fiscal sponsor, which then helps fund socially impactful content like this.
